Holding the bottle in the sink, carefully remove the cap and bung, clean any spills, then screw the cap back on if required. Insert 4 – 7 reeds into the bottle and spread them out. Within 24 hours the reeds should have begun to absorb the fragrance and diffuse it into the room. Reeds can be occasionally turned upside down to maximise fragrance dispersal. Reeds can also be replaced if the fragrance is no longer as prominent, as they can become clogged. To prolong the lifespan of the fragrance do not place near heat or direct sunlight.
Made using Dowanol and fragrance, this apothecary-style reed diffuser is provided in a Scent From Devon branded box.
